Is it just me or do the weekends go by wayyyy to fast!?!
We went to Atlanta this past weekend, just to get away! We did a little shopping on Saturday. I was actually surprised that I didn't buy more, they had a lot of summer clothes on sale and I just don't need anymore of those. (I'm having a yard sale in a few weeks to actually get rid of some of those clothes that are overflowing my closet.) The Braves played Saturday night, so of course we had to go do the "tomahawk chop".
We stayed with G's bestfriend Rusty Saturday night and he took us out on the town. It also reminded me of why I don't think I could live in ATL...too many people...everywhere! But we had a good time!
We meet my Grandparents Sunday morning for brunch at a favorite restaurant of theirs, Rays on the River. It's a beautiful place but most of all the food is AH-MAZING! They have a brunch buffet, I'm not talking about the same kind that Ryan's has -(GAG)! It has so much food on it and you can't help but go back twice, okay may be three or four times to get a little of everything you want. We went back to see the new addition they put on their house, it's about the size of our house and it's very nice.
Needless to say, I'm pretty much ready for this weekend and it's only Tuesday...
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention my new do! I got my hair chopped off last week and went darker! I always love a good hair change and it's nice that my sister will be graduating from hair school in a month! WAY TO GO AMY SHELL! The ONLY bad thing is she won't let me complain when it's free!

I love trips to Atlanta. It's even better when you have people that you know who live there that aren't on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted's list. Ha haa-kinda. I love your new hair do. Did Amy do it? I complain when my aunts who are hairdressers do my hair and it's free. That's why most of the time, I just sneak off to someone else and pay..........At first they were mad, but then I guess they realized that they weren't making any money from me because they wouldn't let me pay and they putting up with my hard to do hair/complaining. It all worked itself out.
great pics, and your hair is super cute!!!
You don't know me (I am a friend of a friend's of Amy Tippens) and I happened to come upon your blog. My husband and I went to that Braves game too this weekend. Too bad they lost!
Yes, the weekends go by wayyyy too fast, especially in the summer. Glad you had a nice weekend. Cute 'do! I will be getting a haircut soon and am contemplating layers. Definitely need a highlighting BADLY!
