Practice makes perfect

Or so we've all been told. I decided I should play around with my new Cannon Rebel. I actually haven't been able to put it down since I got it and my two favorite subjects are being patient with me as I constantly stick a lens in their face.

You can tell by this photo sequence that I might be pushing my limits, but isn't that what I'm supposed to do as a wife?!?

I could just squeeze this little face...

This was about the time I decided to put the camera away.

I'm looking into photography classes (Amy T., you still have to do these with me!) and I'm really wanting to find one so I'll know a little more about what I'm doing!

Larry got me an awesome book for Christmas that I'm learning a lot about photography with-- Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. It's helping me get the basics of aperture, lighting and focus. Have fun playing!!

Hey Anna! Love that you got a digital SLR. It looks like you have already fallen in love with it. I can promise you that you are right on with practice makes perfect and seriously reading straight through your Canon's manual will teach you a TON! Can't wait to see more of your skillz!

Cameras made a huge comeback as gifts this year. I hope you enjoy yours. I think it's great that you can take classes to perfect the art of using your camera.

I found your blog through Ashley Lancasters. Your puppy is precious! I had a yorkie for 6 years and she passed away last summer! She was definitely my first born child...they are soo sweet and fun!
