Another visit to a doctor today. I finally broke down and went to the emergency clinic because I was not getting any relief from the medicine that my regular doctor gave me. She wasn't very clear on what she even thought it was.
The doctor said I was having an allergic reaction to something I must have eaten but we can't figure out what that could possibly be. I was given a shot and some medications through an iv. I came home and slept so hard for 5 hours straight!
Thanks for all of your nice comments and thoughts, I love reading those. I am feeling much better and the hives have ended faster than Brittany's marriage to KFed did. (I just re-read what I typed yesterday and I was on benadryl, don't hold it against me that it looks like a 3rd grader may have written it...I was a little groggy.)
I am a firm believer that after something bad happens (like getting hives) there is always something wonderful to follow. So, when we got this package in the mail, it made my day! Graysen works for a medical company for those of you who didn't know. He was ranked in the top 10 in sales for his company nationwide and won us a FREE trip to California in May!
I am so excited I can't stand it! This is a paid trip to a state that neither one of us have ever visited. We received lots of information in our packet telling us all of the activities and themed nights like casino night, Hawaiian night, and the formal party and awards celebration. We have decided to use it as our first year anniversary trip since the majority of it is free ans it's very close to June 7th. We are going to pay for two extra nights at the hotel and just make a big vacation out of it! One of my brothers is graduating from the Marines in June, actually the same weekend of our first wedding anniversary so we will be in South Carolina that weekend. I'm trying to talk Graysen into celebrating our anniversary several times by staying in Hilton Head on our actual anniversary, I think we both deserve it. Who doesn't love a reason for a road trip anyways!

Get out of town! That's so awesome! you guys are going to have such a stinkin blast! Congrats on winning such a fun trip!
Sounds awesome! Glad you are feeling better. :)
Great news, about the trip! :)
For what it's worth, the Benadry itch relief spray is awesome. When I was 12 weeks preggo, I randomly broke out in hives from heat to toe for 3 freaking days - misery! The spray did wonders. (Also - I hadn't eaten anything new, and I went through all kinds of skin-prick tests and got bupkiss, my doctor never knew why it happened).
