Baby Ballard's first photos

I have sat down several times to blog and have just not had much to say. Or I've found other things to do like watch a movie and eat a bowl of homemade peach ice cream.

Baby Ballard seems to be growing well and has a great heartbeat. I've had two ultrasounds so far and I think you'd rather see them than my bloated belly at this point. I can't suck in anymore.

These aren't the best pictures because they are a little blurry. I took a picture of them since I don't have a scanner. If you look closely at the second one you can see the baby's head and the shape of it's body. Amazing.

Baby Ballard was measuring a few days ahead on the last ultrasound, which would make the due date January 14th instead of the 17th. I'm eager to find out what "it" is so we can put a name with all of the baby talk and of course so I can start shopping.
