4 months

baby P is 4 months old!



He is a little chunky monkey and his personality is really starting to show! Here he is showing off his muscles...I mean chubby legs that I love!


Here a few of the new things going on with baby P at 4 months:

Favorite Person: It's a very close tie between Mommy and Daddy. He'll go to both of us but sometimes Mommy has the magic touch to make him quit crying. He will pretty much go to anyone as long as they don't hold him like a baby, he likes to stand up or look around and see what's going on.


Favorite time of day: In the mornings when baby P wakes up, sometimes he just likes to lay a stare at his mobile and laugh before Mommy even has to get him up. He loves bath time too, he will give a full out belly laugh during bath and when we tickle on his belly.





New task we're working on: Rolling over consistently, he will go from side to side but not all the way over yet. Sitting up which he can do with some help right now but we want him to do this on his own. Taking a passy...this has been a battle. He won't take one but I'd like for him to for church and other things where it'd be awesome to just give him a passy to soothe him. We've tried every brand, kind, color and he just spits them out.

Favorite activity: This boy loves to watch some sports! I've tried to turn on Baby Einstein dvd's and he'll watch them for about 5 minutes but turn on basketball or the gold channel and he's good to go! He loves his swing and bouncy seat still.


Least favorite subject: Naptime! Even though he sleeps through the night from about 8:30pm to 7:30 am he doesn't like long naps some days.




Bad Habit: Wanting to watch tv, he'll even turn his head to find the tv in the room. And being swaddled, this isn't so "bad" right now because it helps him sleep but he's starting to break his arms out which I think means he's ready to break the habit and sleep like a big boy soon!


Cutest characteristic to date: His facial expressions! He is truly my child! I always make faces and don't even realize I'm doing it but his are so funny! We will just crack up at some that he does!

Favorite spot to relax and nap: Bouncy seat or the pack and play in Mommy and Daddy's room...yes he still sleeps in our room. Upstairs in his crib is too far away for me right now. He'll probably be 15 and still in the pack and play! haha!


Favorite Food: Cereal and of course milk.


baby P has a dr. appointment Monday so I'll be sure to post his stats but let's just say I think he's gonna be a bit on the BIG size and maybe off the charts! :)
