6 months

baby P is 6 months old!

Yes, I just said 6 months!!! I feel like he just made his grand entrance yesterday but yet I can't remember much about my life before he was in it.

He is showing us so much of his big personality everyday! He cracks us up and usually makes himself laugh which makes us laugh even more.

Parker is all over the place.


 He is sitting by himself but would rather be rolling and crawling all over the floor. He reaches for toys that are in front of him if he's doing tummy time and he will put his head down and scoot with his legs but can't quite figure out that if he moved his arms than he's move a little better.  He reaches for anything right now, my hair, earrings, Daddy's sunglasses. He even got a hold of the dog the other day and was pulling his hair and Oscar just sat there scared and we had to pry P's hands off of him! P was just laughing like it was the best thing he's ever done.  He gave us this same surprised face like he knew he was busted! 

He's a very curious boy. We can't sneak much past him now. As soon as he sees a bottle he knows it's his and squeals with excitement. When he sits in his high chair to eat he starts banging his hands on the highchair telling us to hurry up with his food. He definitely has my patience. :)

P is such a good baby. Sleeping well, eating well and the only thing that has thrown him for a loop is the teething. He has 1 tooth on the bottom and the one beside it is trying so hard to come on through. He is the drool king! Bath time is still his favorite and he loves to get us soaked with every drop of water in the tub.

I LOVE the age he is right now. He babbles and just "talks" all of the time. Still likes to cuddle with us before bedtime and loves to be the center of attention. He plays with so many of his toys now that I thought he wouldn't notice for a while but they've already become the entertainment in our house. We've memorized every song on every toy.  I'm not too sure on his weight and height because his 6 month appointment is not until the end of the month. He's getting bigger for sure! 


I can't believe he is 6 months old but it has been the BEST 6 months and I'm so blessed to have this wonderful gift of being a Mommy to my sunshine.
