sunshine

The hot southern days have arrived, it's been a scorcher here! 

Friday we went to a playdate at a friends pool. Little P loved the big pool but thought this baby pool was made just for him. He had a blast! We spent the day at the pool and he came home and slept for 3 hours! We need to go swimming more often because he had a blast. I want him to be a water baby so that next summer he's ready to jump in to us and so far he's on the right track as much as he loves water.

(he had pulled his hat off by this point but don't worry gigi his sunblock was layered on him.)

We enjoyed even more sunshine today at A's 1st Birthday party. I didn't get any pictures of the sweet cowgirl in her birthday outfit but she was so cute! This party was lots of fun! Everything was great from the cake to the petting zoo that came to their house and set up. It rained for about 20 minutes which moved everything inside but it didn't slow the barnyard bash down a bit.

I love spending my time with these two guys. My loves!
