I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. so now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord. And he worshiped with the Lord there. I Samuel 1:27-28
Parker was dedicated yesterday at our church and it was such a special day for all of us. We are beyond blessed to have so many friends and family that were able to share this day with us and will be able to give us love and support as we raise Parker with our Christian morals and beliefs.
Parker did really well during the ceremony and I was so nervous because he had just let out a huge scream right before we walked to the front of the church. He skipped his morning nap and was in rare form even when we took him to the nursery during the service. We were paged by the nursery to come and get him because they could not calm him down and this is so unlike him. He was tired and we joked that he knew everyone was in there without him since he had just been in front of the church.
Our Pastor, Mark, made it so special and Parker seemed to really like being in front of everyone and seeing what all was going on.
After church we had everyone back to our house for lunch to celebrate Parker. We had a delicious southern lunch including chicken casserole. corm casserole, green beans, salad, fruit and rolls. Of course we had sweet tea and strawberry lemonade and some yummy desserts too!
My friend Courtney makes these delicious CoCo Cakedots that just melt in your mouth!
We had such a great time spending the afternoon with our friends and family...
My family after about the 10th picture where we tried to get Parker to look at the camera and smile...you see how that turned out! haha!

Nothing like having your friends over for lunch only to clean up the mess! Love these two...Allison and Andrea.
baby P was exhausted by the end of the day...he is such a blessed little baby! We were so happy to share this day with everyone who was able to come.

Love the post! What a special, special day! Thank you for including us! Parker and baby E are going to be the best of friends, just like their mommies! :)
