Welcome to our home!

I've never posted pictures of our living room because I wasn't sure anyone wanted to see pictures of the dust bunnies having a party on the floor. But Kelly's Korner inspired me with her Show Us Your Life Friday edition. 

So, have a seat and I'll give you a quick tour.

We usually watch tv in this room at night after Parker is in bed. I'm not much of a decorator and would love for someone to come in and give me some tips but the pillows and rug are from Target. The artwork piece above the couch is a great deal we found at Kirkland's

 and we bought the furniture when we first got married.

Finding a tv to fit in this exact cutout was tough but of course my husband found one that fit perfectly, ya know where it touches from side to side so you can't see even an inch into the cutout ( must be a guy thing). The door leads to our back deck and yard. 

I usually change out my mantle decor depending on the season.

Here's a view from the upstairs loft area. One of my favorite things about our home is the ceiling. It's different and the detail stands out. You may wonder where all of the toys are...we keep them in the bonus room but trust me a few come downstairs every once in awhile.

So there you have it!

Wish ya'll could stay for a glass of sweet tea but I have a waking baby P to go get out of his bed.
