Since Thanksgiving was last week I have counted my blessings one by one more recently. I've taken a moment to reflect on each one and soaked in every moment with my sweet little family since Graysen was off work and home with me and P last week. I could go on and on about how I'm so grateful for my husband, baby P, family and friends but I am thankful for them everyday and try to let them know just how special they are to me.
Right now I'm especially thankful and blessed with my faith.
It has grown more than I ever could have imagined this past year.
There were ups and downs, laughs and tears, but most of all support and blessings.
Having a baby that was born 6 weeks early really brought me to my knees praying that he would not have a long stay in the NICU. Praise the Lord he didn't stay long, just 6 days and he has been a healthy baby boy ever since.
Selling a business that was my passion and such a fun hobby to be a stay at home mom tested my spirit and judgement that I was making the decision that was best for my family. But in the end it has turned out exactly how it was supposed to be and I've loved being home with P.
Struggling with some friendships but having new ones that made me realize it's okay for life to change. While still keeping some old friendships that reminded me how blessed I am with a true support system.
I could say that I made it through this past year with luck but if you know me well you know I have no luck.
I've been blessed, greatly blessed.
I am filled with His love and spirit and am forever grateful for His love shining down on me. I pray that everyone can have this same feeling and know just how blessed they are by Him. I'm obsessed with Tree 63 right now and their song Blessed Be Your Name. You must look up these lyrics or listen to this song, it's so uplifting. I crank it up on my ipod and dance around my kitchen every morning just to remind me how amazing life is right now no matter what we might be going through.
