Easy BBQ Chicken

My friend Lyndsie does this yummy little thing on her blog called Monday's Meals and it always give me great ideas. I feel like I cook the same things every week and I love to find new recipes and change it up a bit.

This recipe is so simple. My Mom made this a lot when we were younger to get us to eat peas on top of our mashed potatoes and she called them "birds nests". It was so much fun to eat them when we were younger... not such a big fan of peas now.

Here's the Easy BBQ Chicken recipe:

You will need:
Chicken Breasts
1 Bottle of BBQ sauce (any kind you would like)
1 mini coke (or you can use half of a normal size one.)

Add all of these into your crock pot and let then cook for 4 hours. Be sure to stir and check on the chicken. It will smell so good and taste even better!
Enjoy!

baby P really enjoyed dinner tonight, his favorite part was the crescent rolls. Don't mind that he is still in his pj's from this morning...we've had a lazy day trying to make his cold go away. He's nice and cozy in his crib now after a bath and some clean pj's. Here's to praying that crescent rolls help him sleep!

Love that he is still in his pjs! Charli was in hers all day today and only changed out of them for a bath and a clean pair.

His owl pjs are so cute!

And we have some days that are all in the PJs, too. Don't sweat it. Sometimes those are the best days.

I just wanted to give you a big THANK YOU for this recipe! It is so easy and I love that it only has two ingredients! Its a new staple for us, haha! I even switched the recipe up because my boyfriend drank the Coke I bought for making it but luckily we had a Cherry Pepsi in stock. Thought it would be gross but you really cant taste the soda using either type, such a great recipe, thanks again for sharing.
