Oh Happy Day, Happy Day!

The Easter bunny made a visit to our house for a special little boy!

Lots of fun activities for him to do like color, play-doh, bubbles, matching eggs game and sidewalk chalk.

He could not wait to see what was in his basket. I was actually a little surprised that he was as interested as what he was in it. He usually looks at something and moves on to the next thing but he was so cute checking it all out.

 Happy boy!

Proud of himself for finding these eggs that we have hidden at least 10 times in a 24 hour span.

Right before church pictures. This is what happens when you try to set the automatic timer because you know your child will not be in the mood for pictures after church for sure.

Attempt #1: fail. P wasn't excited about looking towards a camera without anyone behind it.

Attempt #2: fail. But at least the dog tried to sneak in and don't mind the half of an egg in Graysen's hand with his head cut out of the picture. Or that P is thinking we are crazy at this point! It makes me laugh when I look at it.

We enjoyed a beautiful Easter service and a day with our families.
I'm so grateful and changed because Jesus is alive!
How very blessed we are!

The greatest day in history, Death is beaten
You have rescued me
Sing it out Jesus is alive
The empty cross, The empty grave
Life eternal You have won the day
Shout it out Jesus is alive
He's alive

Oh happy day, happy day
You washed my sin away
Oh happy day, happy day
I'll never be the same
Forever I am changed

When I stand, in that place
Free at last, meeting face to face
I am Yours Jesus You are mine
Endless joy, perfect peace
Earthly pain finally will cease
Celebrate Jesus is alive
He's alive

Oh what a glorious day
What a glorious way
That You have saved me
Oh what a glorious day
What a glorious name

Happy Day- Tim Hughes

I love Parker's jon-jon. Little boys in dressy clothes are so cute!
