mother's day and sunny play

So far, May has been pretty eventful for us.  I enjoyed my 2nd Mother's Day with my guys and was spoiled more than I deserve with a 90 minute massage, facial and pedicure, 2 books, an owl necklace I've been wanting( I just might have ordered this for myself) and extra sloppy kisses and big hugs, from little P of course.

We ate dinner at my parents that night and spent a lot of time on their back porch hanging out.

We tried to take pictures before church on Mother's Day morning but someone was not in the mood.
Just goes to show that every picture is not perfect, this is my real life with a screaming toddler.

It's been so hot lately and it's not even the middle of summer yet. We had been looking at water tables for P and my Mom found one at Target which he absolutely loved at her house so I went to get one and they were out. I headed to Walmart and found this one, the exact same one she has just in different colors and it was cheap! I feel like we have already gotten
our money out of it and we have a long summer to go.

P could literally splash himself in the face and laugh about it. He loves water!

Our neighbors had a big dump truck at their house Tuesday and Parker thought it was the best thing to stand and watch. He would point at it and just get so excited thinking he had really found something hidden in the trees.

What more could I want on a sunny day than a happy boy playing outside, my sweet tea and a good book!

 Silly boy!

We had so much playing in the water earlier this week that we had some friends over to play this morning!

Charli is already darker than me and she's a baby. I'm so jealous of her pretty skin!

Parker ran straight to Jenn as soon as she got to our house and gave her a hug.
He was telling us about how excited he was to see her. It was cute!

The girls had a great time in the pool.

This shirt could not be more true for P!

Noah came and played with his friends too!

Josie made sure the water was good for everyone to drink, dip their fruit in
and soak their crackers for a bit. Haha!

Emersyn was taking it all in and soaking up some sun.

We're glad we have fun friends to play with, it sure does make the day go by fast!

And when it's over, we know it's over and naptime for all!
