Rosemary Beach

We spent the 4th of July at the beach and I think that I may start adding that to our list of traditions. It seems  so spirited when you can eat bbq, watch people drive around in decorated golf carts and see fireworks. We had a great time, although it is a far cry from the days of going with just our friends and laying around on the beach. P loved it but there wasn't much time to sit except for during nap times. He was completely spoiled being around so many adults and being the only child though, sometimes he thinks he can do everything the big kids do. He was off his normal routine so we spent many mornings taking a walk while everyone else slept. It was nice to have some quiet time though. He liked the sand after a while and the higher he was thrown in the pool the more he wanted to do it. We went to Seaside one night and to Destin another for dinner while we were there, love those little places.

P slept for 5.5 hours on the way home and it was a 7 hour drive total. G had to catch a cat nap too after being worn out from the beach. I think I need one right now to catch up myself!
