baby b 2.0

I feel like I have so much to catch up in blogging land. The break from blogging has been nice and much needed though with morning, noon and night sickness. I have more to post about with baby b but this post is pretty much just for my forgetful memory.

Onto baby b...

I took a pregnancy test on November 13th before church and sure enough it was positive. I could not keep the news to myself and just blurted it out to Graysen with the test in my hand. He was just as excited as I was about the big news!

I had my first Dr.'s appointment and some bloodwork done. This ultrasound is from 7 weeks and there was a wonderful heartbeat, such a blessing to hear. Yes, we did hear it that early. I thought I was about 9 weeks along but when the baby was measured it was about 7 weeks.

 Here's baby b at 12 weeks! It's not very clear because our sweet Dr actually just used one of the older machines in the room so we could see the baby. It wasn't really supposed to be an official ultrasound, but I love that my Dr. gives me some extras, she's the best!

We decided to tell our families at Thanksgiving. To say they were excited is an understatement, they were all thrilled! And this proud big bro was pretty happy too!

We are so excited about this journey and can not wait to see what is in store for our soon to be family of four!
