What a beautiful Easter!
We celebrated all weekend long, praising Him for his promises and even partaking in some of the fun stuff like eggs and candy.
This sweet little bunny is such a HAM! Friday after the gym we came home and had a picnic outside and he loved wearing bunny ears around. And it's the one day he got to wear the shirt I made him, I have a feeling it will be getting some wear in April.
We played outside that afternoon and then went to dinner at a little hibachi place near our house. We went to the Good Friday service at our church that night and it was so touching. It was something I think that everyone should do, Graysen and I both walked out with a new outlook on Easter and were even more grateful for our faith.
Saturday mornings at our house are usually pretty lazy. Pancakes and eggs for breakfast! P thought he was supposed to still be eating his eggs when we started dying easter eggs. Luckily, this was the first one he tried to eat the food coloring on and he quickly caught on to the activity.
Little P had lots of fun with this stickers, so much that he just wanted to put them all over himself.
Sunday morning after church we came home to find the bunny had left a surprise!
I love this boy more than he will ever know!
P is such a daddy's boy! These are two peas in a pod.
After a little cooking we headed to our friends house for lunch. They were so nice to invite us since my parents were out of the country and usually my Mom cooks on Easter.
Someone really, really was missing his afternoon nap...actually I think they both could have fallen asleep in the hammock.
My very best Emily!
The only family picture from Easter, P was over it by this point and my eyes are swollen from the pollen. I seriously have never had allergies this bad but it's making my eyes black the pollen is so bad.
I counted my blessings this Easter weekend. And then counted them again for we are so blessed.
"By your wounds we are healed
You have conquered the grave
And in your rising, we will rise
To carry your name
Above every name "
