37/38 weeks

How far along: 37 weeks on 7/3/12, 38 weeks 7/10/12

Size of baby: At the 37 week appointment we had an ultrasound and Bennett was measuring 38w6d. So, my Dr. thinks my date was a little off. I kinda remember them saying July 11th at the very beginning but then after the first ultrasound they changed it to the 24th and then mentioned the 17th, who really knows but my Dr. thinks he's ready. At the ultrasound last week they guessed his weight to be 7lbs 8oz so we'll see how big he is when he's born! 

Gender: Boy- Bennett Gray

Maternity Clothes: Stretching out my normal clothes and wearing lots of comfy things like this maxi dress.

Weight gain: 27lbs as of yesterdays appointment

Belly Button: Out

Movement: He has slowed down a lot! He still moves but he is running out of room for sure. At yesterdays appointment I was dilated to 2 already and 70% effaced. I'm hoping he makes his arrival very soon but the contractions I'm having are not consistent or close enough together. 

Sleep: I've not been sleeping well and usually move to the recliner around 4am. But last night I only woke up 3 times to pee and would fall right back to sleep which is rare for me! Maybe the mile and a half I walked last night wore me out. 

Symptoms: Heartburn!!! Bad back pain! 

Cravings: Carrot cake from J Alexanders and chocolate milk, nothing else really sounds that good to me right now. 

Best moment this week: Seeing baby B on the ultrasound and hearing that he is growing healthy and praying he is a strong baby boy!
