July 16th we headed to the hospital to have our Bennett Gray!
We had scheduled an induction if Bennett had not arrived at this point. My Dr. did not want me to wait much longer because of my past pregnancy history with my blood pressure. My bp was great during this pregnancy but we didn't want to take the chance of it starting to sky rocket, I must say it was also super nice to have a plan and everything ready to go.
One last picture of Bennett in my belly!
My sweet husband got me a little push present he gave me that morning and added to my sunshine necklace with Bennett's name. I love these!
I also surprised him with a little something, collar stays for his dress shirts. These from his boys of course.
We got to the hospital at 6pm, right on time and they had no idea we were supposed to be there. Long story short, it was a scheduling mistake, I knew I was supposed to be there and I was not leaving until I had a baby!
I was at 3cm and 70% when I got there so I prayed things would progress smoothly. I got cervadil at 9:30pm that night, begged for my epidural around 2:30am and by 6:30am my water had broken. It all progressed so quickly from that point. I went from a 4 to a 10 in about 45 minutes. Bennett was ready to arrive and very fast, I only had to push for 14 minutes and he was born at 9:46am. I felt a lot more than my body was prepared for, when the nurse realized I was at 10cm, I could move my legs quite a bit but there was not enough time to get more medicine in my epidural iv. I had the shakes uncontrollably after Bennett was born, it was quite the experience. I know it was not natural child birth but it was pretty close for my low pain tolerance.
The best feeling in the world is seeing the miracle of life for the first time.
Lots of happy tears were shed.
I love my Dr. for so many reasons, her prayers and happy personality are amazing.

My sister dropped Parker off at our church summer program and made it just in time to see Bennett born.
I'm very thankful my Mom was there to see her second grandson born!
It was a long night for us, you would think Graysen had just had a baby or something! haha!
He seriously was so amazing to help me get through labor.
Our family of 4!
I love this series of pictures, Parker could not wait to get his hands on his baby brother!
I love these two miracles more than anything.
