We received a phone call Tuesday night that Graysen's dad was in a bad car accident. He was the only one in his car and Dr.'s think he passed out he hit a tree head on. He is in ICU in North Carolina at one of the top hospitals that has wonderful team of doctors and nurses to help the healing process begin for him. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

On the other hand, (no pun intended) I have a hairline fracture in my right hand from kickboxing. I'm in a cast that I can remove so that I can take a shower and not walk around like I dipped my head in a grease bucket! It's been very painful and swollen, after having xrays taken on two different days they have noticed swelling and inflammation in my right wrist...my first response was " No, kidding!" I have been in remission from Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis for many years now, I was diagnosed when I was 12 and it was a battle for me for several years. Some days were difficult for me to open a bottle of water or button my pants but the past 5 years have been a huge improvement for me. I am going to see a specialist for a checkup, I have not been to one since being in remission. I hate being on medicine and am hoping for the best at the upcoming appointment. I'm trying to change my diet because that was a huge help to me in the past. I'm not a very public person and have always tried to avoid the fact that I have had this, I've come to realize that I need to take the right steps to heal my joints and bones so that it doesn't cause me pain later in life.
G and I read a devotion every night from a couples book that was given to us by my parents. Last nights scripture was, Jeremiah 30:17 "For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, saith the Lord."
This was very encouraging to me and reminds me that He is in control at all times.

Anna, I will def. add Graysen's dad and your health to my prayer list. Isn't it amazing how the Lord gives us the perfect scripture exactly when you need it?!
praying!!!
Wow Anna!! You all are in our prayers. Keep us posted about your father-in-law. Hope you aren't in too much pain. At least you don't have to walk around like a grease monkey!! You crack me up!! Seriously, hope that you heal soon and are relieved of the pain as much as possible in a way that suites you!! :)
I'm so sorry to hear about Gray's dad. I'll be praying for his full and speedy recovery.
I always wanted a great story for my many injuries, but I never have a kick boxing type story. I'm sorry you are going through that. Just further evidence that sitting on the couch eating bon-bons ain't so bad. LOL
Praying and thinking of you guys.
