We took a road trip this past weekend to Tallahassee, Florida. My little brother moved there in June for a job which by the way he loves! I'm very proud of him for taking the big step to enter the "real world" and leave our parents home for the first time. Phil is the baby boy of our family, he always got his laundry done and never had to pick up his plate after dinner and take it to the kitchen. He was always a spoiled boy but now has grown into a hard working man that I really look up to at the young age of 21.
Friday morning Graysen, my sister Amy and I packed up and made the 6 hour drive. When we arrived Phil had to take us to the store he works at to show us everything and I do mean every inch of the store. He is the camping manager at an outdoor store so of course we had to take a picture with the deer in the front to prove that we were kinda "outdoorsy" for a few minutes.
Saturday we went to the UTC and FSU football game. Even though our college team isn't great, okay maybe they really stink to put it nice,we went to support the team! Florida State has one of the nicest campus areas I have ever seen. Tailgating was my favorite part because we had a tent and I could sit in the shade and read my People magazines.
The guys had a great time at the game, even though UTC lost. I think as long as guys are in a football stadium they have a nice time.
We were all exhausted and sun burnt after the game so we went back to out hotel and took a nap and ate to go food in our room. We decided to go out to a little place called Julie's that had karaoke,it was very entertaining. There were people singing all kinds of songs and we really laughed more in those few hours than we could possibly stand!
I would like to wish a Happy Belated Birthday to one of my best friends Emily. She is the funniest person I know, she always make me laugh with her witty sayings! We were out of town on her birthday but celebrated with her and her fiance earlier in the week.

Yes, you should definitely try it out. Very much worth it. I recommend the pancakes. My hubby got them and said they were great. This place was on Rachel Ray's $40 a day. My dad was at that UTC football that you went to. He works for the team.
