We usually don't like to go out or do much after a long work week. We've had the same routine on a Friday night since we've been married...get take out and watch a movie or if it's my pick I watch 20/20 and fall asleep 15 minutes into the show.
As soon as G asked what I wanted to eat tonight, I of course excitedly shouted back, "CRACKER BARREL" and begged him that I had to have breakfast for dinner, which has always been my favorite meal. Cracker Barrel is just down the road from our house, I could walk if I had to. (Just a side note: If I could eat at CB everyday I would, another side note that was the longest runnnn onnnn sentence evvverrrrr but this is my blog, right? Right!)
So, we get seated at our favorite table after arriving at the restaurant, you know, the one with the checker board on it. We played two games before our food arrived, I won't mention who won since I am "usually" a bad loser! After our delicious breakfast we both looked at each other and knew what the other way thinking. "Biscuits? To-go?"
The waiter came back with our ticket and asked, "Anything else I can get you guys?"
G replied " Well, do you think we can get some biscuits in a to go box?" The guy looked at him like he had 3 heads but said, " Sure, would you like 4 or 5?" " I was thinking more like 12, maybe?" G said. The waiter said without any hesitation, "Ummm, you mean a dozen?"
Pretty sure we just came home with a dozen biscuits from Cracker Barrel. The only thing that disappoints me is that we forgot to ask for the really good apple butter they have.
We carved pumpkins with some of our friends this week. I'm so glad fall is here, it's my favorite time of the year because of the holidays. I just had to share this picture because I was so proud of my pumpkin!

Breakfast is my favorite meal, too. My favorite breakfast, if not cooked at home, is Apple Barn. Cracker Barrel, is my 2nd fave and most frequented. I love the pumpkins!
