Happily Ever After

Scattered, smothered, covered.

No, that was not my Waffle House order but the way this post is going to be written.



Thursday night we went to an outdoor benefit concert with friends that was put on by Northwest Georgia Bank. Jamie Johnson, Luke Bryan, Colt Ford and members of Zac Brown Band performed with all proceeds going to mothers with breast cancer. The fall weather made for a great night out and it was good to see Zac Brown in concert again since he is an amazing artist.


I about froze towards the end of the night and G was loving the chilly fall night.

We went to dinner last night with our good friends David and Rachel and then went to see a movie. The guys were wanting to see Appaloosa, once we got to the theatre and I saw the poster for this and realized it was a "western" the girls quickly decided we should see something else so we opted for Nights in Rodanthe and I was actually not that impressed. I guess I had my hopes up and expected more. I love all of Nicholas Sparks books but just didn't love this movie like I had hoped. I still want to see Fireproof but that's one that G and I want to see together since we've both heard great reviews about it.


My father in law is doing better, he had surgery and will be in the hospital going through physical therapy for several weeks. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
