Overwhelmingly Blessed

I signed on here and started writing about how stressed I had been in the past several weeks and then I realized I am not stressed but I am blessed.

I prayed for a best friend and He blessed me with a wonderful husband and supporter.

I prayed for a job that makes me happy to go to work everyday...He has blessed me.

I prayed for motivation to work out and to get in shape...He has blessed me.

I constantly pray for many things to happen, people to be kept safe and healed among many other prayer requests...He has blessed my loved ones near and far and I have faith HE will continue to perform miracles.

At times I might be overwhelmed and anxious but I turn it over to Him and let it go in prayer. Thinking positive and receiving encouragement helps me day by day but most of all the strength from above is what brings me back to remember how blessed I am.

I lift up my eyes to the hills- Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip -
He who watches over you will not slumber;
Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you
The LORD is your shade at your right hand;
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm -
He will watch over your life;
The LORD will watch over your coming and going
Both now and forevermore.

Psalm 121

That's such as great attitude to have! It's so true that we get so caught up in the day-to-day stress that we forget how much we are blessed by Him when we look at the big picture.

I love that Psalm, and that you had such a reality check. It's so easy to complain, it's much more difficult to realize our blessings!

Great Post... It seems that we all use blogging as a vent sometimes. You are so encouraging to others to show that it can be used as a thank you for our blessings.
