Oh Baby Baby!

Secrets out...we're expecting! After several weeks of feeling exhausted and not able to even complete a sentence I finally went to the Dr. and had some blood work drawn. Dr. "N" called me and she was just as surprised as I was! She shared the great news along with other details like prenatal vitamins she was going to call in for me and answered a couple of random questions I had.

I called G bawling my eyes out. I couldn't even get the sentence out and we ended up getting home about the same time and I just blurted it out. I always thought I would think of a cute way to tell him but it was such a surprise to even me I couldn't wait! Later that night as we were sitting on the couch I asked him if he was okay because he was quiet and he said, " Yeah, just watching this show." He then asked if I was okay and I said with tears welling in my eyes, "No, I have to pee too much." Oh the hormones...

We told our parents and close friends. All were thrilled and my Mom was ready to tell every stranger she ran across in public. We then knew it wouldn't stay quiet long.

I'm estimated to be a little over 7 weeks right now. I'm thinking I'm further ahead but who knows, I'm the girl who doesn't even balance my checkbook, I'm not good with numbers.

We are very blessed with this miracle surprise of Baby Ballard. Please keep us in your prayers for a healthy pregnancy. I've not had much morning sickness, it usually hits me in the afternoons and I just need a nap.

Our trip to San Diego was wonderful! We took about 500 pictures. I'll be sure to post about what all we did on the West coast as soon as I get caught up on everything including sleep.
