Wow.
I am still speechless after today. We had the first ultrasound of Baby Ballard done this morning and the little heart was beating away!
It was amazing to see such a fast flutter in such a small area. I teared up and Graysen just sat there with his mouth open. I think he was paying more attention to the monitor than I was. I was asking a lot of questions, as usual and he just sat and was very attentive to every word that came from the Dr.'s mouth. Such a blessing! We got the first "picture" too and of course it's hanging on the fridge right now.
And on a side note, I'm actually not as far along as I though. Wishful thinking. The due date is January 17th, I feel like I'm going to be prego forevvveerrrr!
I've got a lengthy post coming about our trip. It's in the works, just taking longer than I'd like for it to.

Congratulations! Believe me, the time will fly and you'll be sporting quite a little bump before too long...and then a cute little babe not too long after that! Hang in there, the 1st trimester is tough, but the 2nd is MUCH better (or atleast for me) :-)
