We checked into our hotel Monday night and I had never been happier to see a bed! I was exhausted from a day of layovers, traveling and running through airports to catch flights.

They gave us this little bad boy right here. G was not a fan. I thought it was halfway cute, like a little go cart. However, it had no power to get up hills.

Our first day in San Diego we went to the zoo. It was perfect weather to walk for 6 hours and look at all of the rare animals and even some common animals. Giraffes are my favorite so of course I was obsessed with them.







We spent the next day at Sea World with Shamu and the dolphins. We really enjoyed this because they had a lot of shows were the animals did tricks and performed. They are well fed for sure!






One night we had a knock on the hotel door and it was roomservice. G told him that he had the wrong room and he kept insisting he didn't so we finally let him bring thr tray in. We opened the card and had Congrats on Baby Ballard and Happy Anniversary (2 weeks early) from some very dear friends of ours! Love the Pott's fam!


The weather was amazing the entire week! I thought it was actually a little chilly, there was always a breeze blowing.





The last night we were there the Mr.'s company had an awards dinner and banquet to honor all of the top sales reps. You see that is the reason we were out there. His company paid for 3 nights and we decided to extend our stay and make a vacation out of it!




It was a wonderful and very needed vacation. I'd go back there anytime! The 3 hour time difference threw me for a loop but other than that I loved it! We went to a huge mall and did some shopping, ate in Old Town at a little Mexican place that made their own tortillas, it was pretty cool. Not cool that I forgot my camera that day and we don't have any pictures from it.

Loved Cali! Loved spending time with my husband...of almost 1 year! Loved the much needed vacay!
