Ohhh the memories have been flooding back lately. I've been cleaning out a few closets and donating clothes and junk. But there is one thing I will never get rid of, the photographs.
I have been cracking myself up for the past few days looking at these pictures of... college. Ahhh, the old days, it seems like so long ago but still feels like it all happened yesterday. No worries, besides of course getting my math homework turned in and picking out the right dress to wear to Spring Formal.
(Hey, the one strap was really in then and is making a come back!)
I wouldn't have made it through college without a certain group of girls, my Chi Omega gals. So, maybe I wanted to pay for my friends and join a sorority but they were the best friends that anyone could have and it sure did pay off.
These are the girls that I still talk to today, some more often than others but we always pick up right where we left off.
The ones that I can pick up the phone and share the great news of having a baby boy.
(Dear Pregnancy, I would like my body to look like this after Parker is born. I'm not asking for much...just to shed a few lbs quickly. Sincerely,Hopeful Skinny Momma to be)
The ones that call to say they've just passed their boards and are officially a lawyer.
The only ones that understand the true meaning of,"What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", after a Spring Break trip.
The ones you live with during college and then later realize that you can't live without them.
The ones you decide to open a business with because it sounds like fun and you've always had this dream.
Or the ones you choose to stand beside you on your big day!
I wouldn't change a thing about those 4 years. It was the best college experience I could have ever imagined and I owe it all to you girls!

Aww great pictures!!
So I just got a little teary-eyed reading this. I love my sorority sisters dearly and this just hit home - I've got the rest of this school year and at least on more semester with them and I'm already dreading having to go our separate ways!
Awww...what a great post! I totally agree with you. I love my girls like nothing else.
You are so pretty and I love these pictures! SO glad you have such great friends as support!
What great pictures and memories you made! :)
