Parker has made so much progress since he was born and we are amazed at how strong he is. We know this comes from many prayers lifted up and the hand of God being with him during this journey.
Our visit tonight was amazing! Parker took his first bottle! The nurse had to feed it to him but it was my milk which made it very special to me. His feeding tube is now in his nose just incase he won't take a bottle they are still able to feed him. He loved the bottle but was not a fan of being burped.
He has a light on him because he has a touch of jaundice. No big deal at all, this can happen with even full term babies. He has a new pair of stylin' shades to sport but he was not too fond of them and kept trying to pull them off when he was awake.
Baby Parker is now off of the oxygen and cpap which is great news! He is now getting 26 cc's each feeding and is tolerating it well, he must have his Daddy's appetite.
We got to hold him tonight and he was wide awake the entire time I held him. It was perfect to look into his sweet little eyes and talk to him and sing "You are my sunshine." I used to sing this when I was pregnant with him and he would kick like crazy! He loved it!
As soon as Graysen held him he slept. He was so calm and it was amazing to see him and Graysen both asleep just rocking away.
We count down the hours until we can see him again and I'm trying not to think about when he will come home because it just makes me want him home even more. Each day he makes progress and it's such a blessing. I am being taught patience more than I ever knew I needed.

What a sweetheart! I will be praying for you. Do you know yet when you can bring him home?
I had my baby Garrett on January 9,2009 and he was 36 weeks. I know how you feel having a premie. Garrett was tinier than Parker though, he was 5 lbs 2 oz and 18 1/4 inches long.
I pray God's arms surround your little one. He is absolutely adorable. If you need to talk email me! Tenntibbs08@aol.com
Praise God! Things are getting better and better!
Keep up the good work lil' Parker!! :)
Oh I'm so glad to see things are progressing well. I have been so worried about you guys. This is your best post yet. He is absolutely adorable. Look at that hair! You just might have a dark haired blue eyed baby too. Precious! Praise God!
I love the sunglasses. I am glad he is doing so well!
