December 9th, 2009 at 3:46pm our lives changed forever!
Parker Davidson Ballard arrived weighing 5 lbs and 12 ounces, he was 19.25 inches long. 
He is 6 weeks early and his lungs are not fully developed yet. He is making a grunting noise and the doctors said it's because he was born early. He is in the NICU and on a cpap machine and several other hookups are going into him like a iv and tube in his mouth.
Please pray for Parker and his health. I am a huge emotional wreck right now and cried the entire time we were at his bedside in the NICU last night. I know there are a lot of sick babies but this is my baby and I hate to see him go through this.
We are going to see him again in 45 minutes and I will post more after that, everything is just so overwhelming right now. I know we are in good hands here at the hospital and the Lord is watching over our sweet baby.

I'm praying for Parker! He is a great size for coming early and the NICU will do everything for him. I know how you feel right now - it's so scary! God is with you holding you hand. Praying right now and I'll put him on a prayer list! It's hard to watch your baby on all those machines and tubes but they will help him!!!!

He's so precious! I can't even imagine how hard it must be to see him in the NICU -- but he does look great for being so early. NICUs are amazing and I know the Drs and Nurses will be taking great care of him. I will be praying for you and Parker! {hugs!}
