SO much

I have so much to write about. We have so much to be thankful for. But today I have a very heavy heart. I'm being dicharged from the hospital and Parker will still be here in the NICU. I never imagined it would happen this way. It doesn't seem fair. All I can do is cry. I know it's for his best health to stay here and get better but it doesn't make it any easier for me.

He had a good day yesterday. My parents, GiGi and Pawpaw got to go in and see him and they loved every minute of it! I think he did too and realizes he is already going to have everyone wrapped around his tiny fingers.






Yesterday was also the first time we got to hold him. I briefly got to hold him for a minute after her was born but it wasn't long enough. It was the first time Graysen held him, I bawled and Graysen sang Rocky Top to him. Parker loved being held, he was so calm. We also got to change his diaper. I changed the first and Graysen got the second. It was Graysen's first diaper to change ever, he did a great job and is going to be a wonderful Daddy!









I thought about making my blog private after Parker was born but I don't think I'm going to. I think the power of prayer is very strong. Graysen and I believe he was born early for a reason. We know God is in control of Parker's life and he will be out of the NICU in no time but for me the time is going very slow. Thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts! The hospital nurses call my room the florist because there are so many flowers. I have eaten about 3 cookies because we have been given so many snacks!

We are off to visit Parker for his 8:30am feeding and diaper changing. I'll have a lot more to post about later, we've taken over 300 pictures and he's not even 2 days old!
