Prayers

The past few days have been a whirlwind. I will first start by saying that Parker is fine...he has a great heartrate and lots of movement. I'm doing okay. Let me rewind a bit.

Last week I had a lot of swelling and it was getting worse as the days would go on. My Dr. had me do a 24 hour urine test, gross I know. It came back showing I had protein in my urine and my blood pressure had been a little high when I had gone to a couple of office appointments. I was sent home last Wednesday from the office after being told I had preeclampsia and told how to manage it at home with blood pressure medicine. The Dr. wanted to see me again Monday (which was yesterday) to check on me and baby.

I will be honest and tell you that I did the ugly cry, I mean UGLY! I feel like I have done everything that I possibly can in this pregnancy to stay healthy and keep Parker safe. I had to come to terms with the fact there is nothing I have done to cause this situation.

Yesterday at the Dr. she was not very pleased with my swelling and blood pressure. So, here I am in the hospital hooked up to monitors with these compression leg things on my legs to keep the blood flowing. Like I said earlier, Parker seeems to be fine right now and it's my body they are wanting to watch closely. I was supposed to be here for 24 hours which means I would be going home sometime this afternoon. I am praying I am able to go home even though they just brought me the hospital menu to circle what I wanted for lunch and dinner. I haven't been eating what they bring though, my family is supplying me with good food.

Please send lots of prayers this way if you have any extra to spare. I know we are in good hands.

We would like for Parker to "bake" a little bit longer. We're not wanting our little gingerbread boy to come just yet!

Right now I am letting go and letting God.

Hang in there, girl! Praying for you and sweet Parker. Just remember who has got you in His hands and promises to "never leave or forsake you."

I will keep you and Parker in my prayers for sure. Kendall was almost 3 weeks early and she was fine and very healthy, I am kind of thankful she came early because she weighed 7lbs 10oz, if she would "cooked" any longer she would have been one big baby!!!! :) Please let me know if you need me to do anything for you, I am just a door away.

I am keeping you and Parker in my prayers. I was borderline preeclampsia with my son. I was induced a little early and everything was fine...praying that you have the same good experience!
