The weather in TN has been wonderful the last few days and we
have taken full advantage of it by venturing to the great outdoors!
After spending a lot of time outside in the rocks it was time for me to do some things around the house.
I had a baby shower to go to Saturday so I made a diaper wreath and I think it turned out so cute!
I love gifts like this because they are so useful.
I've been cooking a lot more lately, wanting to eat better for myself and for our family. P has become a picky eater and only choosing to eat yogurt, fruit and crackers on a normal day.
If anyone has healthy kid recipes please feel free to share, I need lots of new ideas to try!
I bought some spinach leaves to put in a smoothie the other morning
and decided to end up using it in a recipe for him too.
Boiled organic chicken, oatmeal, shredded cheese and spinach leaves. I also added a little bit of whole milk. I'm terrible at measuring and following directions exactly so this was a total trial and error recipe.
Blend it all up, roll in balls and bake then you have these little yummies! P loves them!
He also loves to chew on anything right now with his 1 year molars that have popped through. He even liked chewing on the book we received in the mail from Dolly Parton's imagination library.
I love that he gets these books so often in the mail but this one was called "Big sister, little sister" and honestly it's just not going to be kept around since we don't have any sisters in our house right now and it was a super girly book. And this child is all BOY!
