Weekend Recap

It was one of those weekends that I always want to remember. Every. Single. Second. We celebrated my birthday last weekend and P even told me Happy Birthday by getting a fever Sunday afternoon. I just know it was his surprise for his Mama he loves so much!

We started off Friday morning with some cinnamon rolls and bananas. This boy can eat a banana every day and would probably eat 2 a day if I let him.

Friday night we went out to dinner with our friends Emily and Howard and they helped us to entertain our little P. He just cracks up at his Auntie Em and Uncle How.

Saturday I woke up bright and early for a personal training session and I'm so glad I started my day off like that. Working out is becoming so much more fun to me. Am I losing my mind? Probably.

We then spent the afternoon at a near by playground and let Oscar and Parker run around one of the baseball fields. It was perfect to run off some energy before a long nap.

(Yes, we still have Oscar. He just doesn't get as much blog time as Parker does.)

It's tough to get a good family photo but this was the best we got.

We went to a wonderful worship service at church Sunday morning where somehow, my husband talked me into signing up to play on the girls softball team, he played on the guys last year and loved it.
It's been a long time since I've played but I'm excited!

My parents had us all over for dinner Sunday night to celebrate my birthday and my younger brother Phil's. Parker had spiked his fever that afternoon but with them living 4 miles down the road there was no way I was missing out on some good cooking and family time. So, we packed him up in his pj's and headed over for a quick dinner. He loved the extra attention and snuggle time with his GiGi and Aunt Mayme.
I forgot my camera so I didn't take any pictures that night but it was fun.
This simple weekend was so much fun and exactly what I wanted for my birthday.
Along with some great gifts... those just added to the weekend! :)
